Frequently Asked Questions
What
is a trance?
A trance is an altered state of consciousness
that most people slip in and out of all the time –
for example, when we’re so engrossed in a film that
we forget where you are, or when we travel down the motorway
for 20 miles without being conscious of driving the car.
Will
I tell you something I don’t want you to know while
I’m in trance.
No. Most of the time you’d remain silent
during a trance but even if you do speak, you’d
never say anything you didn’t want anyone
to know.
Will
you have control of my mind?
No. Hypnotherapy, contrary to popular belief,
is all about you having more control of your own
mind. The hypnotherapist is simply the catalyst for you
to reorganise your thoughts, behaviours and beliefs in
a more positive way.
Can
anyone be hypnotised?
Yes, if you want to be hypnotised you can be.
However, there are different depths of trance and these
vary from person to person and also from session to session. |

It's
no longer a struggle avoiding the foods that are not
good for me. I simply don't want them anymore
